These are possibly our best sausages I have tried. The pork is free range from the hills of Bridport with a generous splash of cider from Burrow Hill which I can see from my window as I write this. We roast them over an open fire which gives them a wonderful depth of flavour and a subtly hint of wood smoke. They simply must be tried.

Welcome to Brown and Forrest

Brown and Forrest is a small family run smokery, started 31 years ago here in Somerset, we produce the finest smoked eel and salmon as well as a whole range of delicious smoked foods including smoked chicken, duck, lamb and trout. We stock over forty products in our shop which is attached to our award winning restaurant. We also send mail order all over the UK and supply wholesale to customers such as The Hawksmoor Group, Rick Stein, The Gilbert Scott, Raoul's Deli & Restaurant, Brooks Club, Fortnum and Mason & Stein Seafood Restaurants.

Customer Smoking

Calling all fishermen
If you would like us to we can smoke any Trout or Salmon that you may catch. We use exactly the same methodology that we use for our own award winning products and can either hot or cold smoke the fruits of your labours for you.
We will slice and pack it into manageable quantities for you or leave it as whole sides which ever you would like.
The feed back we have had from people has been fantastic and it all freezes beautifully for you to store and use as you'd like to.
