Welcome to Brown and Forrest
Brown and Forrest is a small family run smokery, started 35 years ago here in Somerset, we produce the finest smoked eel and salmon as well as a whole range of delicious smoked foods including smoked chicken, duck, lamb and trout. We stock over forty products in our shop which is attached to our award winning restaurant. We also send mail order all over the UK and supply wholesale to customers such as The Hawksmoor Group, Rick Stein & The Seafood Restaurant, Brooks Club, Fortnum and Mason, Whatley, Augustus, Pinky Food & The Red Lion and Sun.

E2- 200g pack eel fillets
Hot smoked over beech and apple wood gives a delicious and succulant flavour. Best served at room temperature. (Remove from fridge 20 minutes before serving). Allow 50g per person.
AC- 250g Hot Smoked Side Arctic Char
New product launched in summer 2009. Hot smoked as a whole side, brined in a light soya and honey based cure. Roasted over the fire before being smoked gently for a minimal amount of time....simply must be tried.

Our new Trout Fillets! Now miniature versions of our LT. The skin is left on thus creating a moist succulent trout fillet. Lightly smoked, delicious as a main course or starter. May be served hot or cold and serves 2 people.
